Málaga is a cosmopolitan city on the Mediterranean in southern Spain that has seen a revitalization in the last decade. It is well known for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, but it is also one of the oldest cities in Spain, with a rich history that dates back to the Romans. Visitors can explore the cobblestone streets of the old quarter, visit a Moorish fortress and a castle, and explore a 1st C. Roman Theater.
On this 4 hour private walking tour you will get an overview of some of the main monuments in the historic city center. You will also learn about Picasso, the city’s native son. You will see his birthplace, pass the church where he was born, and take a guided tour of the museum that houses an impressive collection of works donated by family members. Your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin your tour, which can include the following sites:
