- Archivo de Indias – 16th C. building next to the Cathedral that contains the most complete documentation of the history of the Spanish Empire in the Americas and the Philippines
- Alcázar – 14th C. Mudéjar palace where Ferdinand and Isabella once lived, with well-kept gardens. For more information, click here
- Torre del Oro – overlooking the Guadalquivir River, the 12-sided Tower of Gold was built in the 13th C. and today houses a maritime museum
- Parque de María Luisa – site of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition, the Plaza de España is famous for its painted azulejos (ceramic tiles), which depict historical scenes from the 50 provinces of Spain. For more information, click here
- Barrio Santa Cruz – the old Jewish quarter, with winding streets, cobbled squares and beautifully preserved homes and patios
- Museo del Baile Flamenco – fans of flamenco con learn about the history of this dance, and also learn about modern flamenco. For more information, click here
