The Hospes Palacio de Arenales & Spa Hotel is a 5-star hotel located just 10 minutes outside of the historic town of Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Housed in a building from the 17th C., the hotel once served as the summer residence of the Golfín family, an important aristocratic family that hosted the Catholic Monarchs in their 15th C. palace in the city center during their visits to Cáceres.
Set in a peaceful location just outside of town and surrounded by hundreds of olive trees with 81 stork nests, the Palacio de Arenales is a tranquil oasis where guests can relax and enjoy treatments at the spa, and explore the beauty of Cáceres and the other historical towns in the Extremadura region, including Trujillo, Plasencia and Mérida.
The hotel has 46 rooms decorated in a modern decor, all with exterior views. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, free WiFi, hair dryer, LCD TV and room safe. Dreamer and Deluxe rooms range in size from 20 m2 to 40 m2, and suites (Junior Suite, Suite and Presidential Suite) range in size from 40 m2 to 80 m2. Dreamer rooms have a maximum capacity of 2, some Deluxe rooms and Junior Suites can accommodate up to 3, and other suites can accommodate up to 4. The hotel also has an outdoor pool, health club, sauna, and outdoor parking.
Las Corchuelas Restaurant serves traditional cuisine from Extremadura. There is also a Bar/Lounge, and a bar on the summer terrace that serves tapas, beverages and light snacks.
