Tucked away up a small alley just off one of the narrow streets that lead up to the Cathedral in the heart of Évora you will find Páteo. This charming wine bar and tapas restaurant is the perfect place to take a break from exploring this charming and historic town to enjoy a drink and a meal.
Páteo is an open-air restaurant with a casual and inviting ambiance. Tables are arranged in a courtyard with a large tree and white canvas umbrellas that provide shade on hot sunny days. The staff is welcoming and will happily go through the menu with you to help you choose from the many tasty dishes they offer. The menu includes a variety of choices, from salads and snacks such as olives, local cheeses and smoked sausages, to hot & cold appetizers if you are looking for a snack or something to nosh on. For a more hearty meal Páteo has a selection of main meat and fish dishes to enjoy for lunch or dinner. There is also a beverage menu that includes a variety of Portuguese wines.
