Ask anyone going to Madrid what is on their “To Do” list and they’re sure to say that they want to visit the Prado Museum, tour the Royal Palace and stroll through the historic neighborhoods of the Habsburg (los Austrias) and Bourbon royal dynasties that transformed Madrid into the majestic capital city it is today.
Also topping the list will most certainly be trying the amazing Spanish food. Food is an integral part of the Spanish culture, and whether you want to visit a market, enjoy an evening of going for tapas, or sit down to a fine dining experience in a top rated restaurant, you can do it all in Madrid.
If you’re not content with waiting until your next visit to Spain to indulge your craving for Spanish food, why not learn how to make some of Spain’s best known dishes so that you can recreate them in your own kitchen when you return home? This way you can take a mini-vacation and escape to Spain without ever leaving your kitchen.
Choose between a Paella Cooking Class from 10am to 2pm or a Tapas Cooking Class from 5:30pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Saturday. The group classes are limited to a maximum of 12 participants, and children are welcome. No cooking experience is required, so all you have to bring is your appetite, as you will have plenty of time to sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor once you are done cooking.
