Take a day trip from Seville to explore some of the charming and picturesque Pueblos Blancos (white villages) that the region of Andalucia is well known for. Your private guide/driver will pick you up at your hotel to begin your 8 hour private tour. There will be a break for lunch in one of the villages.
The sample itinerary can include visits to the following villages:
- Zahara de la Sierra – located 1.5 hours south of Seville, Zahara de la Sierra is one of the most beautiful villages of the Sierra de Cádiz. From the 13th C. castle perched on a hilltop visitors can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside, local olive groves and the nearby Zahara-el Gastor reservoir. Explore the charming village and there is an option to visit one of the local mills to learn about olive oil production and sample some of Andalucia’s best olive oils.
- Setenil de las Bodegas – while many of the white villages can be found perched on hilltops, Setenil de las Bodegas is unique in that the town is built mainly into caves and under rocks. The town’s white homes have been built under huge rock overhangs, making it a memorable place to visit
- Ronda – perhaps best known for the stunning views from the arched bridge that straddles the 120 meter deep gorge that cuts across the town center, Ronda is one of the most beautiful and historic of the white villages. Enjoy a stroll through town, cross over the impressive 18th C. New Bridge (a symbol of Ronda and feat of architecture), and pass by the historic 17th C. Plaza de Toros bullring, one of the oldest in Spain
